Vinh is a less visited town in North Central Coast of Vietnam.

Vinh is not such a tourist and visited place. Vinh is the capital of Nghệ An Province, and is a key point in the East–West economic corridor linking Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. This place still growing and modernizing. It could be your choice if you want to take a relax at the ocean.
From Vientiane to Vinh in Vietnam by 12 hour bus drive.

There is no direct flight from Vientiane in Laos to Vinh in Vietnam. But if you want to see very nice surrounding in Laos and Vietnam you can travel by comfortable sleeper bus, this route can take about 12 hours. You can travel with this bus also from Vientiane to Hue and Da Nang. If you do not have a time, you can take a flight to Hanoi (the best option) and take another flight (or train) from Hanoi to Vinh.
